There will also be a world premiere of an entirely new orchestral work, written by the Norwegian composer Ketil Hvoslef. Grieghallen is the main venue for the festival, but there will also be concerts in about ten different venues: The Grieg Academy, King Håkon’s Hall, the university auditorium and churches in downtown Bergen. All the concerts are free to attend! The European Orchestra Festival is being organised every three years by the European Orchestra Federation (EOFed). This year, the festival is hosted by the Norwegian Youth Orchestra Association (UNOF) and the Norwegian Symphony Orchestra Association (NASOL).
